Back in the ‘80s, owning a Members Only jacket was pretty much the apparel equivalent of a golden ticket. Flashing that signature label got you into exclusive clubs with VIP treatment the world over. Fast-forward twenty years, and the brand is back, and it must be said, better than ever. After its relaunch two years ago, it took about one nanosecond for the fabulous folks to come flocking. Zack Efron and Pharrell have already been spotted wearing the newly released men’s collection. Sadly, the label alone won’t get you past the velvet ropes these days, but it will earn you lots of street cred (and plenty of compliments).

Savvy mother/daughter team Kathy and Maya Ganon know how rare it is to find a good-looking handbag that does more than just carry your daily must-haves. The perfect bag has to look good, feel good, and augment a range of ensembles. Determined to solve the problem using fine leather, denim and Swarovski crystals, they founded their company in 1995. Originally launching in Israel, the Gannons started making bags that did not sacrifice function for form-or vice versa. They called the company “Lionel” because they felt their offerings were as regal and loyal as a lion. Three years ago, the lion started a manufacturing branch in Chicago, so each of these bags was Made in the USA. Now that’s definitely something to roar about.

On occasion, prices at Modnique sales are pretty exorbitant, and I just don’t feel comfortable promoting a piece of jewelry that has a price tag in the five-figure range–especially not in this economy. But today is not one of those days. I found lots to love in today’s sales!

My Tribe is one of my favorite fashion lines because of the fit and beautiful drape of the pieces and for the price. You can find a great looking top in this sale for about $12 and this dress is only $23.

Handbags are one of my weaknesses, and I splurged today–but just a little. These gorgeous bags from Tosca are priced to sell and I found myself tempted to buy more than one.
